We're not just talking about serious issues like missing teeth here – even small chips or discolorations can alter the first impression that you make. Fortunately, there are plenty of easy fixes to these types of problems, with cosmetic dental veneers<\/a> among the most common. <\/p>\n

These veneers are bonded to the front of a tooth, and can improve appearance while also providing an extra layer of protection. Let's check out a couple of common problems where veneers can provide a solution.<\/p>\n

Rather than using a porcelain material (which requires the removal of some enamel), direct laminate veneers can be used in situations where additional protection isn't required. These can be tailored to the rest of your smile's colour, perfectly blending discoloured teeth in with the rest of your pearly whites. On the flipside, these veneers aren't quite as strong as their porcelain equivalents, so if you have any structural concerns or the discolouration is caused by an issues such as dental trauma, it may be worth talking to your dentist about a stronger option. <\/p>\n
